Privacy policy

This policy explains how Wescalebusiness Pvt Ltd (“we”) collects and uses personal data when you use TeamWeScale. We process personal data in line with the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 and other applicable Indian law.

What we collect

• Account details: name, email address and a securely hashed password, or your Google profile if you sign in with Google.
• Purchase details: items bought, amounts, billing name, mobile number, address if you provide it, and payment status. Card, UPI and bank details are handled by our payment partner and never reach us.
• Messages you send us: contact-form enquiries, call bookings and newsletter sign-ups.
• Usage and security data: download history, IP address and browser type, used to deliver purchases and prevent abuse.

Why we use it

• To create your account, process payments and deliver your purchases.
• To send receipts, invoices, download links and important account emails.
• To respond to enquiries and provide support.
• To send product updates, only if you subscribe. You can unsubscribe at any time.
• To keep the service secure and meet legal and tax obligations.

Who we share it with

We share data only with service providers who help us run TeamWeScale: Cashfree Payments (payments), Amazon Web Services in the Mumbai region (hosting, file storage and email delivery), Google (only if you choose Google sign-in) and an error-monitoring service that receives technical details when something breaks. They may process it only on our instructions. We do not sell personal data.

How long we keep it

We keep account data while your account is active. Invoices and transaction records are kept for the period required by tax law. Enquiries are kept for up to two years unless they become part of a customer relationship.

Your rights

You can update your name, email and password, or delete your account, from Account settings in your dashboard. You can also ask to access, correct or delete your personal data, or withdraw consent for optional processing such as the newsletter, by emailing support@teamwescale.com. Every newsletter email has an unsubscribe link. When you delete your account we remove your name and sign-in details, but invoices and transaction records must be kept to meet tax law.

Cookies and local storage

We use one essential cookie to keep you signed in, plus the security cookies our sign-in system needs. Your cart and any coupon you apply are kept in your browser’s local storage, not on our servers, until you check out. We do not use advertising or analytics cookies. To count how many people are on the site, your browser also keeps a random visitor ID and tells us which page is open while you browse; we hold this only in memory for a minute or so, never with your IP address, and use it for anonymous site statistics.

Grievance officer
